ST. LOUIS -- Oklahoma State guard James Anderson was named a finalist for the Oscar Robertson Trophy, the U.S. Basketball Writer’s Association’s player of the year award.
The junior from Junction City, Ark. is one of 16 finalists for the award and the winner would be announced Friday, Apr. 2 at an award breakfast.
Anderson leads the Big 12 conference in scoring, averaging 22.6 points per game.
