LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas -- The Tulsa Drillers squeaked out a 1-0 decision over Arkansas Saturday.

Anthony Jackson scored the game’s only run in the top of the eighth inning. Jackson reached base on a fielders’ choice. Daniel Mayora tripled on the next play to bring Jackson home.

Al Albuquerque put the Travelers down in order in the bottom of the ninth for his first save of the year. Chris Malone (1-0) earned the win after throwing two scoreless innings and giving up just one hit.

The Travelers mounted their biggest threat in the sixth inning with a runner on third with one out. Wilin Rosario tagged out Carlos Colmenares at home to prevent him from scoring. Arkansas would have runners on first and second with two outs but Malone would get a strikeout to end the inning.

Roberts Fish (0-1) gets tagged with the loss after giving up the game’s lone run. The Travelers managed only four hits.

Tulsa will go for the four-game sweep against the Travelers at 2:00 p.m. Sunday.
