TULSA, Oklahoma— The Tulsa Shock will have their third chance this season to beat the WNBA’s best team, the Seattle Storm (22-3). The Shock has already faced this team twice this season, one at home and one on the road. Tomorrow’s contest will be the second time Tulsa has hosted the Storm this season at the BOK Center.

In that first meeting, the Storm survived by making a crucial fourth-quarter run to win the game 83-72. The Shock had shot 47 percent from the floor for the first three quarters but only managed four baskets in the final quarter. Three of those baskets came from Tiffany Jackson.

The Shock (4-21) is still looking for one more victory that will insure that they don’t become the team with the worst record in the WNBA’s history. The 2009 Atlanta Dream still own that “honor” with a record of 4-30.

Also, Tulsa is looking to end yet another losing streak that has grown to seven games. The recent loss to the Washington Mystics marked the fifth consecutive time the Shock has lost by double digits. Tulsa has dropped 19 of its last 20 games. The only win during this span came on the road against the San Antonio Silver Stars, a five-point contest on Friday July 16th.
