TULSA, Oklahoma – Tulsa senior defensive back Charles Davis remains questionable for the Golden Hurricane’s game at Memphis on Saturday, TU coach Todd Graham said at his weekly press conference on Monday.

Davis appeared to injure his right knee early in Tulsa’s 41-14 victory against Central Arkansas on Saturday. He limped off the field and did not return.

Tulsa coaches did not specify the details of the injury, but Graham said it is not considered serious.

“It’s not something that’s going to keep him out for very long,” Graham said. “We’re hopeful that we’ll have him back.”

Davis has 17 tackles for TU this season, as well as an interception and a team-leading 4 pass break-ups on the year.

Graham said that although Davis’ injury is not a long-term affair, it would still be nice to have an entirely healthy roster for a while.

“It seems like we get one back, we lose the other one,” he said. “We need to get them all out there every game.”

Tulsa will go on the road to take on Memphis at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
