TULSA, Oklahoma--The Tulsa Talons of the AFL announced Thursday that wide receiver Brian Paysinger has signed to play with the Talons in 2011.

“I’m extremely excited about signing Brian for the upcoming 2011 season. Brian is a big time Wide Receiver, from a big time program up in Oregon. With his combined size, speed and ability I look for him to put up huge numbers for our team this season. I know Talons fans are going to love watching him on the field this year,” said Talons Head Coach Mitch Allner.

Paysinger who played for the Oregon Ducks as a two-year starter in 2006 and 2007 is best known for his game winning touchdown reception against the University of Oklahoma during the controversial non-call game in 2006 in Eugene.

Paysinger was third on the team in receiving during his junior season with 34 receptions for 451 yards and three touchdowns.

His senior season was off to a promising start with nine receptions for 165 yards before a knee injury ended his college career after just a few games.

“I’m extremely excited about signing Brian for the upcoming 2011 season. Brian is a big time Wide Receiver, from a big time program up in Oregon. With his combined size, speed and ability I look for him to put up huge numbers for our team this season.
