OKLAHOMA CITY – OKC Thunder players took part in two events on Monday – a Homeland shopping spree and a Thunder Fit clinic at a local middle school.

Thunder guard Thabo Sefolosha helped Jason and Angela Clark and their three children shop for groceries at a local Homeland in northwest Oklahoma City.

The shopping spree is the first of four shopping spree events scheduled for this season to help needy families in the Oklahoma City metro area.

Meanwhile at Bethany Middle School, Thunder forward Serge Ibaka and guard Daequan Cook helped about 50 kids run through basketball drills and learn more about nutrition.

The clinic was part of the Thunder Fit program designed to teach kids to be active and develop healthier lifestyles.

Kids at the one-hour Thunder Fit clinic rotated through stations for basketball drills, strength training, abs/core drills and nutritional information.
