The Oklahoma City Arena is packed as Oklahoma City hosts the Minnesota Timberwolves, but somewhere in the Monday night crowd are two people who traveled halfway around the world just to see the game.

Andrew and Magda Bartucciotto arrived Monday afternoon at the Will Rogers World Airport and were greeted by a spokeswoman from the Oklahoma City Thunder.

And that's why the Bartucciottos are here in Oklahoma. They came here on their honeymoon to watch the Oklahoma City Thunder at home.

But before they were here, the couple was thousands of miles away becoming husband and wife in Australia.

The two mates were married this month in their home country of Australia, but they say their home team is the Thunder.

They admit, however, they've never set foot on U.S. soil until now.

"We're not sure what to expect or what to do", Andrew Bartucciotto said after departing the plane Monday afternoon.

Being an NBA fan in Australia does have its challenges. NBA sports merchandise, for instance, is only available online.

Andrew and his bride sat courtside at Monday’s win against Minnesota and will be courtside again for Wednesday's game against Dallas.

Andrew says he's followed the team from its days in Seattle and watching them grow in Oklahoma the past few years has been remarkable.

Watching them in person, he said, is a dream come true.

After they leave Oklahoma, the Bartucciottos are flying to Hawaii. Before arriving in Oklahoma City they were in San Francisco and Las Vegas.
