OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma City Thunder’s shooting cooled off Friday, but it still managed to pull out a 102-87 victory over the Sacramento Kings and extend its winning streak to five games.

The Thunder (19-8) finished the night shooting 48 percent from the field, ending a streak of four straight games with 50 percent shooting or better. OKC was also below average from the free-throw line, hitting just 64 percent.

The Kings (5-19) – who have the fewest wins in the NBA – kept the game close for much of the night and went into the fourth quarter down just five points. But the Thunder put together two separate 8-0 runs on the way to 30 points in the fourth quarter to pull away.

Kevin Durant led all scorers with 24 points, while Russell Westbrook scored 21 and Serge Ibaka recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Nick Collison and James Harden also played well off the bench; Collison had 12 points and eight rebounds, and Harden scored 11.

As has become the usual, Sacramento’s scoring was top-heavy. Tyreke Evans led the way with 22 points, and DeMarcus Cousins and Beno Udrih added 19 points each. But nobody else on the team had more than seven points.

Oklahoma City has only lost twice in its last 10 games and is now in sole possession of first place in the Northwest Division. The Thunder will complete its four-game home stand at 6 p.m. Sunday against the Phoenix Suns.
