TULSA , Oklahoma – TUguard Justin Hurtt is having a good senior season for the Golden Hurricane.

But his performance in the last two games has made him the leader of this team.

In each of Tulsa’s 10 games this year, Hurtt has scored 13 points or more. But on Sunday, December 12, Hurtt scored a season-high 25 points. And just 4 days later, he was even more impressive, scoring a career-high 36 points.

Hurtt currently leads the Golden Hurricane in scoring, averaging just a shade under 20 points a game. And thanks to his effort on Thursday, TU snapped their 3-game losing streak as they beat Weber State in overtime.

Tulsa is now 5-5 and they’ll try to start their first winning streak in almost a month on Tuesday night when they play at Wichita State.
