TULSA, Oklahoma – Could the University of Tulsa really lose two football coaches to new schools in the same offseason? Reports from earlier this week hinted that first year offensive coordinator Chad Morris was a leading candidate for the same job at Clemson. Now, multiple reports have the Golden Hurricane skipper possibly bolting town as well.

Todd Graham, the team’s head coach for the past four seasons, is rumored to be headed to Pittsburgh to take over as the Panthers’ new head coach. On Thursday, through Pantherlair.com, a site devoted to Pitt sports, CBSSports.com reported that Graham was being interview by the Panthers’ in Atlanta.

That may not be true.

Graham’s wife, Penni, tweeted that the Golden Hurricane leader was not interviewing in Atlanta on Thursday, “unless there is a body double in my living room”.

The Pittsburgh Post Gazette is reporting the Penn State’s defensive coordinator Tom Bradley and Alabama assistant Sal Sunseri are two of the Nittany Lions’ top choices, but not the only ones. Graham’s name has been tossed around in the Pitt conversation by a handful of media outlets.

Earlier this month, after returning from the team’s blowout win over Hawaii in the Hawaii Bowl, Graham insisted that he had no interest in leaving. He said he loves the school and has three children enrolled at Tulsa. The 46 year-old joked that his wife insisted he'd be moving on his own if he were to take a new job.

Pitt parted ways with head coach Dave Wannstedt after the season and hired Mike Haywood to replace him. The school then fired Haywood two weeks into his tenure after a domestic violence charge.
