AMES, Iowa—The Oklahoma State Cowgirls fell on the road to No. 22 Iowa State 79-59 for the Cowgirls third straight loss.

OSU (13-7, 1-6) was hampered by a foul-laden first half in which the Cowgirls committed 16 personal fouls while 27 were committed overall. Iowa State used those fouls to lead 40-30 at the break.

In the second, the Cyclones came out and made six of nine three point attempts to take a 65-41 lead and never looked back.

The Cowgirls were paced by two players off the bench in freshman Vicky McIntyre who finished with a career-high 24 points and Tiffany Bias who finished with 13 points.

McIntyre also grabbed eight boards in 29 minutes for the Pokes. Bias helped with two steals and two rebounds and went six-for-six from the free throw line before fouling out with less than a minute left in the game.

The Cyclone win is the teams third straight victory putting them at 16-4, 4-3 on the season thus far.

Kelsey Bolte lit up the scoring for the Cyclones finishing with 20 points, nine rebounds and three steals.

Oklahoma State struggled from the floor as the five starters only scored a combined 12 points on the entire night and the team shot a mere 33 percent from the field.

The Cowgirls will play again Sunday when they host the No. 1 ranked Baylor Bears at 1 p.m. inside Gallagher-Iba.
