TULSA, Oklahoma – Last month, the Tulsa 66ers won 14 straight games. Now, the team is going in the other direction.

The 66ers came into Saturday’s game having lost 2 straight games. That’s just the 2nd time this year the team had lost back-to-back games. And they had a chance to snap that streak on Saturday night as they hosted Utah.

Tulsa jumped out to an early lead, but it didn’t last for long. The Flash stormed back to take the lead, and they would never give it up as they beat Tulsa 113-95. Byron Mullens led the 66ers with 18 points and 9 rebounds and Robert Vaden chipped in 12 points, but it just wasn’t enough.

That loss was Tulsa’s 3rd straight, and that’s the first time they’ve lost 3 in a row this year. It also drops them to 23-10 and keeps them in a tie for 1st in the Western Conference. The 66ers now head out of town for a quick road trip. Their next game is on Wednesday night when they play in Sioux Falls.
