STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- The Oklahoma State Cowboys capitalized on the Central Arkansas Bears’ struggles on the mound, racking up four runs late in the game to win 5-3.

The Bears were first on the board with a run in the first inning. Central Arkansas’ Ethan Harris hit a double to start things off and advanced to third on the next at-bat when Jonathan Davis hit a sacrifice bunt. Harris crossed the plate on the next play when teammate Jonathan Houston grounded out to first, giving the Bears to quick lead.

The Pokes’ Jared Womack tied the game up 1-1 in the bottom of the sixth inning when he singled to left center field, hitting home base runner Davis Duren, who was on second.

An error by Oklahoma State cost them two unearned runs in the top of the seventh inning, when both Michael Marietta and Michael Pair scored, bringing the score to 3-1. The Cowboys answered back in the bottom of the inning, striking against the struggling Central Arkansas pitching.
