ATLANTA -- Tulsa coach Doug Wojcik says he has not been contacted by Georgia Tech and says reports he will be interviewed by the school are "hilarious."

Wojcik told The Associated Press in a telephone interview on Wednesday it is "nice and flattering" to hear schools might have interest in him. But he said he has not heard from Georgia Tech, which is looking for a coach after Paul Hewitt was fired following a 13-18 season.

Georgia Tech athletic director Dan Radakovich says he hopes to hire a replacement for Hewitt by the Final Four, which begins April 2 in Houston.

Some potential candidates, including Virginia Commonwealth's Shaka Smart and Richmond's Chris Mooney, have teams in the NCAA round of 16.
