TULSA, Okla. – University of Tulsa head women’s basketball coach Matilda Mossman announced Thursday that the Golden Hurricane signed Kadan Brady to a national letter of intent.

Brady is a 5-foot-9-inch guard from Healdton High School. She led the state with 7.0 steals per game and 7.0 assists per game, and also averaged 22.7 points and 12.1 rebounds.

“I think with Kadan we are getting an exceptional athlete who has a very strong work ethic,” Mossman said. “She has spent her career playing multiple sports and it is a great benefit to her to come here and focus on just one sport. She’ll be playing a 2-3 position, and is a perimeter player with long arms that can defend well. I am excited about her length and she will fit in well with the perimeter players we already have.”

Brady is a two-time Ardmore Area Player of the Year and was a McDonalds All-America nominee. She was a member of two all-state teams in basketball as well as an all-state honoree in softball, and she holds multiple 2A state records in track.

“She is probably the most hard-working, determined player I’ve ever coached,” Healdton head coach Jeff Brown said. “There isn’t anything she can’t achieve when she sets her mind to it. She is going to bring a good, hard-working attitude to Tulsa and she’ll prove herself as a freshman because she will work harder than anyone.”
