OKLAHOMA CITY—The Oklahoma City Thunder returns home Wednesday for game five of the first round playoff series against the Denver Nuggets and the buzz is undeniable.

Some still can’t believe the Thunder didn’t close out the series with a sweep Sunday, but to those fans I say chill.

Although getting the job done in four games is not a bad idea, I think it’s hard to complain about one more playoff game here in OKC.

Plus, the buzz about the game doesn’t just span across the Sooner State, but it’s gone national.

OKC’s own Rumble the Bison made a special visit to the Ellen DeGeneres show on Wednesday along with Oklahoma native Kristin Chenoweth to bring the Thunder to Hollywood.

When this year’s playoffs first began, Ellen received one of the foam Thunder fingers from the Thunder faithful and talked about it on her show last week.

“I was horrified that all you got was the finger,” said Chenoweth. “I had to call in a favor, which they were very excited about, and I brought a guest for you and some gifts.”

Enter Oklahoma’s favorite bison.

Rumble came outwith pep in his stepand brought gifts for Ellen and company including two courtside tickets for one of the playoff games that will be auctioned off for charity.

Now let’s get down to business.

Wednesday night at 8:30 p.m. the Thunder tipoff against the Denver Nuggets for game five.

OKC leads the series 3-1 and need just one more win to close out the first round series.

Fans are encouraged to come be a part of the playoff celebration at ‘Thunder Alley’ starting at 5:30 p.m. outside the Oklahoma City Arena. Come rock out before the game with red dirt group No Justice who will take the stage this evening in Thunder Alley before the game.

If you’re still looking for tickets, fans have one last opportunity to score a pair of tickets to Wednesday’s matchup.

The Thunder Reward Zone gives 100 fans their chance to win one of 25 pairs of tickets or a chance to purchase one of the remaining 75 pairs of tickets for $12 each.

Complimentary food will be provided to the first 100 fans in line to sign up, courtesy Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar on Northwest Expressway.

The Rewards Zone will open up at 4:30 p.m. and registration ends at 6:30 p.m. with the drawing of the winners names set for 7 p.m.

Visit the team website for more information on the Thunder Rewards Zone.

Fans are also encouraged to come early and be in their seats by 8 p.m. in order to enjoy all the night’s playoff specialties.
