Sooner Caravan Announces Tour Destinations

The University of Oklahoma has announced three stops on its annual OU Caravan Tour.

NORMAN, Okla. –The University of Oklahoma has announced three dates and destinations for its annual OU Caravan.

The caravan will roll south to Dallas before returning to the Sooner State to visit Tulsa and Oklahoma City.

The Sooner Caravan travels around to thank loyal Sooner fans and everyone is invited to attend for the meal and fun with university and athletic members.

OU head football coach Bob Stoops and women’s basketball coach Sherri Coale both plan to attend each stop.

Newly appointed men’s basketball coach, Lon Kruger will make the trip to Dallas and Oklahoma City to visit fans while an assistant coach will represent the team in Tulsa.

Below is the 2011 Sooner Caravan Schedule:

June 2 – Dallas-Addison Event Center
June 8 – Tulsa - OU-Tulsa Campus
Aug. 1 – Oklahoma City-National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum

The Sooner Caravan is open to anyone who wants to attend, but you must register to attend.

The cost is $30 per adult and $15 per person for kids under the age of 12.
