OKLAHOMA CITY – OKC’s 10th-inning home run provided a thrilling ending to an otherwise deliberate and lengthy game.

The RedHawks topped Nashville 4-3 to win their third straight game on Wednesday – all three of those wins coming in the current series.

Major action in the game was few and far between for the majority of it.

No inning in the entire game saw more than one total run scored in it.

Instead, the two teams manufactured runs by-the-book: reaching base, bunting or sacrificing the runner over, and then driving them home.

OKC got on the board first when J.B. Shuck advanced around the bases and came home on an RBI from Koby Clemens.

After a one-run response from Nashville, Oklahoma City notched the scoreboard again in the fourth., with Collin Delome scoring on a sacrifice fly from Anderson Hernandez.

The Sounds scored in the fifth and seventh innings to take a 3-2 lead, but the RedHawks still had some fight left in them.

Tommy Manzella grounded into a force out in the bottom of the eighth, allowing Clemens to come home and tie the game at 3. The contest eventually went into extra innings.

But in the bottom of the tenth, Drew Locke broke the trend with a solo, walk-off homer to left field, sealing the series victory for OKC.

Sergio Escalona picked up the win for OKC, throwing two innings and giving up one hit. Jordan Lyles started for OKC and threw six innings with five hits and two runs.

OKC (11-15) will finish out its series with Nashville starting at 7:05 p.m. on Thursday.
