SALT LAKE CITY -- The Sal Lake City Bees came away with a series-opening win against the Oklahoma City RedHakws in a 2-1 game Saturday.

In the second at-bat of the game, Andrew Romine sent a line-drive single to center field and stole second in the next at-bat. Paul McAnulty singled in the same at-bat to bring Romine home and take a one-run lead.

The Bees went back to work in the top of the seventh, started by a leadoff triple to right field from Jeremy Moore. Gil Vazquez knocked soft line drive to right field in the next at-bat to take a 2-0 advantage.

Oklahoma City’s lone run of the game came in the bottom of the seventh. Drew Locke lead off with a line-dive single to left field and three at-bats later Koby Clemens hit a sacrifice fly to right field to bring him home.
