Tulsa Police Search For Kidnapping Suspect

Tulsa police are looking for a man they say kidnapped and robbed two people at gunpoint on May 17.

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa police are looking for an armed man they say kidnapped two people on May 17, 2001. Both victims were able to get away from the man without injury.

Sergeant David Walker with the Tulsa Police Department said the man kidnapped his first victim in the 9400 block of East 95th Street at about 9:15 a.m. The victim was making a delivery in the neighborhood when the gunman came up and forced him to drive to South Tulsa bank to withdraw money from the ATM.

The victim was unable to get cash and was told to go inside the bank to get cash. Instead, the victim alerted authorities, and the suspect drove off in the delivery man's truck.

The kidnapping suspect then drove to Gold's Gym at 66th and Memorial and kidnapped a second victim. The victim was forced to drive his car to 91st and Memorial. The victim managed to disabled his car at 7700 E. 91st Street and ran away from the suspect.

The kidnapping suspect got away, but police believe he was captured by a store camera after the robbery spree. Police got a second photo from a camera at the Community Bank drive-through.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 30 to 35 years old, 5'9" to 5'10" with close cropped hair. He has numerous tattoos on his arms and chest.

The suspect was carrying a small caliber black revolver and a larger silver semi automatic pistol.
