What Jerry Jones Should Have Done

Wade Phillips is out in Dallas. Jason Garrett is in (for the time being).

Heres what should have happened. Jerry Jones should have named himself Head Coach for the rest of the season. Get it out of his system. Hes been dying to call the shots since he ran the houndstooth fedora out of town. This is the perfect opportunity. The seasons in the tank anyway. Its only eight games. Either it stays in the tank and you get the number-one draft pick...or you are a hero!

I know Jerrys not a football coach. But he doesnt know that. And maybe the experience would give him a greater appreciation for the job (and how to stay out of the way next time).

Speaking of which...sources tell me that someone who is "familiar with the thinking" of the guy who used to change the oil for Bob Stoops cars heard that Carol is already shopping for houses in Arlington.
