Just about the time I thought maybe we had exaggerated the boy-genious reputation of Sam Presti...just about the time I questioned the Cole Aldrich and James Harden drafts...and the trades for Mo Pete and Daequan Cook that have resulted in very little payoff...he goes and pull off the trade deadline move of the year!

I was wrong. Presti does want to win now. The iron is hot, and he struck.

Landing Kendrick Perkins and Nazr Mohammed changes the entire complexion of the West. The Thunder are a threat. A Big Threat! They can score, we knew that. And now they add one of the biggest defensive weapons in the league...and two guys who have won NBA titles. Two tour guides to the promised land.

I still dont think the Thunder win the championship this year. I still think Durant will have to knock once or twice before entering. But I could be wrong. OKC is now, without a doubt, a contender. Buckle up Thunder fans. This could get really fun.
