TULSA, Oklahoma -- There are new developments involving the cache of stolen weapons recovered in North Tulsa Wednesday.

Shane Dean Williams, 44, and Amber Christine Anthony, 27, were arrested Wednesday night and taken into federal custody.

Detectives say Williams and Anthony are friends with Billy Joe Hamons, the man who lead police on a violent shootout in midtown Tulsa Tuesday afternoon.

Police told News On 6 that Anthony helped lead them to a stash of weapons: 86 rifles and handguns, along with 30,000 rounds of ammunition were found in a home in the 1600 block of North Columbia Place in Tulsa Wednesday afternoon.

Investigators say the weapons were stolen from a home in rural Osage County.

Police believe Williams and Anthony helped Hamons plan and commit the robbery and kidnapping that took place in Prue, but they don't believe the two had anything to do with that shootout in Tulsa.

Both have been in trouble with the law before.

Williams has a criminal history that includes using bogus checks, stealing cars, and escaping from a state penitentiary.  Anthony's rap sheet mostly includes possession and distribution of drugs along with illegally carrying a firearm.

Tulsa police are continuing to investigate whether Shane Williams was Hamons' accomplice in a series of recent home invasions and robberies.

Police say Hamons fatally shot TU student Sufeng He, a 24-year-old electrical engineering master's student from China in an attempted carjacking Tuesday. Hamons then carjacked another vehicle which he almost immediately wrecked.

Hamons died of gunshot wounds at the scene, either self-inflicted or as a result of exchanging fire with police officers.

Investigators are confident there are more people out there who have information about this trio and their criminal deeds. If you can help, call Crimestoppers at 918-596-COPS.
