Tulsa Police: Man Riding On Outside Of Car Hurt When It Crashes

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A man hanging onto the outside of a car was hurt during a crash late Sunday night on East Admiral.

Tulsa Police say the car sped out of a parking lot at 91st East Avenue and Admiral at about 10:15 p.m. with the unidentified man hanging onto the outside.

A short time later, the car struck a light pole and rolled over.

Two people inside the car were not injured, but the man on the outside of the car sustained numerous leg injuries.  Police say he is expected to be okay.

Tulsa Police are still trying to figure out why the man was hanging onto the outside of the car at the time of the crash.
