NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - Trevor Knight passed for 308 yards to help Number 4 Oklahoma defeat Tennessee 34-10 last night. Knight threw a touchdown pass and ran for another score for the Sooners, who won their seventh straight game. Sterling Shepard caught five passes for 109 yards and Keith Ford caught a touchdown pass and ran for a score for Oklahoma.

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) - Daxx Garman completed 16 of 30 passes for 315 yards and two touchdowns to help lead Oklahoma State to a 43-13 victory over Texas-San Antonio last night. Garman, making his first start since his junior year of high school in 2009, was a bit more inconsistent than he was last week when relieving injured Cowboys starter J.W. Walsh.

BOCA RATON, Fla. (AP) - Jaquez Johnson completed 15 of 20 passes for 318 yards and had four touchdowns to lead Florida Atlantic to a 50-21 win over Tulsa Saturday night. Evans threw for 269 yards and a touchdown to lead the Golden Hurricane but had two interceptions - including one that was returned 23 yards for a touchdown in Boca Raton.

HOUSTON (AP) - A Texas prosecutor said yesterday that a grand jury backed a child abuse charge against Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson this weekend after it spent several weeks reviewing "lots of evidence." Montgomery County prosecutor Phil Grant said yesterday that parents are entitled to discipline their children, but that grand jury members felt Peterson went too far.
