Bobby Lewis joined News On 6 Sports as a reporter and anchor in August of 2009.

Lewis grew up on the beaches of Clearwater, Florida playing baseball and basketball. Some of his best memories are of playing pick-up games in the driveway with his brother and friends until the sun went down. He loved going to baseball games with his family and rooting for his beloved Tampa Bay Rays. He simply fell in love with sports.

Lewis got his first taste of the business hosting a sports talk show for the on-campus radio station at The University of South Florida in Tampa. In 2008, he graduated with a degree in Mass Communications and a minor in Telecommunications. He was then hired as a weekend producer at Tampa's ABC affiliate where he had worked as an intern during his college career. There he covered Major League Baseball, the Stanley Cup playoffs, the NFL and high school sports. Lewis left the Sunshine State in 2009 when he was hired as a reporter at KADN in Lafayette, Louisiana. He spent nine months covering all-things LSU and ULL Ragin' Cajuns, along with high school sports. While there, he also anchored and reported for three university coaches' shows and reported from the sidelines at high school football games for KLAF-TV.

From Lafayette, Lewis moved to the Midwest to join the News On 6 Sports' team and has enjoyed it ever since. In 2010, he worked as the primary reporter for the Tulsa Golden Hurricane football team. Today, Lewis closely covers TU basketball and local high school sports. He also helps cover the Drillers, Talons, Shock and Oilers. "The emphasis placed on sports in this part of the country really makes my job fun," he said. "Every day is fun and unique, and that's why I love it here in Tulsa."

As a "sports junkie," Lewis loves playing basketball and is involved in recreational sports at his Tulsa church. He married his college girlfriend, Juslin, in July of 2009 in Orlando, Florida. They live in Broken Arrow and welcomed their first child in June 2011.
