Tulsa YMCA Opens 'Giving' Library

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A new Tulsa YMCA library opens next month - with a twist.

"This isn't a lending library, it's a giving library," said Laura Hailey Butler of the YMCA.

"So as our kids and our families would like to take books home, they're theirs to keep - and hopefully to pass on to other friends and families when they're done with it."

The "Gwen and Steve Malcolm Giving Library" at the Hutcherson YMCA will hand out free books for families to start their own home libraries.

Bank of Oklahoma and Volunteers of America donated hundreds of books today.

If you'd like to help, you can drop of new or gently used books at any YMCA or BOK branch.
