TULSA, Oklahoma -- The Shock suffered its fourth-straight loss Thursday, after surrendering a season-high point total against the Minnesota Lynx, falling 101-71.

An abysmal offensive output in the second quarter did Tulsa in, knocking down just four field goals in the second 10 minutes.

Trailing five points, thanks to a buzzer-beating jumper for the Lynx by Monica Wright, Minnesota opened up the lead thanks to a 7-1 run to open the quarter to take a 30-19 advantage. Jennifer Lacy knocked down a jumper to stop the bleeding, but Minnesota answered with seven unanswered to take a 37-21 lead with 5:25 left in the half.

The Lynx rode that momentum and closed the half on an 8-0 run to take a 54-30 lead at halftime. Minnesota expanded its lead in the second half, with its lead never in doubt.

Rebounding proved to be an issue for the Shock yet again, being out-rebounded 38-24 overall, including a 10-5 disparity on the offensive boards.

Minnesota's Lindsay Whalen led all scorers with 21 points, five assists and four rebounds, while Candice Wiggins contributed 18 points in less than 18 minutes coming off of the bench. Rebekka Brown contributed 12 points and seven boards, while rookie phenom Maya Moore notched 11 points and seven rebounds as well.

Ivory Latta set the pace for Tulsa with 12 points and three assists, despite turning the ball over five times in the loss. Kayla Pedersen added 12 points, five assists and four rebounds, while Lacy notched 11 points and seven rebounds.

The Shock's will next try to notch a second win of the season at 7 p.m. against the Phoenix Mercury.
