TULSA, Oklahoma -- After a brief All-Star break, the Drillers were back in action and extended its win streak to four games Thursday with a 4-3 win over the Corpus Christi Hooks.

Both teams scored early, a two-out RBI single for Corpus Christi (28-49), while Tim Wheeler scored on an error to tie the game 1-1 at the end of the first inning.

The Hooks took a 2-1 lead in the top of the sixth, thanks to an RBI single from Jacob Goebbert to score J.D. Martinez. However, Tulsa responded immediately and capitalized on pitching errors by reliever Pat Urckfitz.

The relief pitcher intentionally walked Scott Beerer to load the bases, but two batters later walked Lars Davis to bring Tim Wheeler home from third and tie the game 2-2. Brian Rike followed with line-drive single to center field to bring Thomas Field and Scot Beerer home and take a 4-2 advantage.

Corpus Christi tried to close the gap with a Chris Wallace RBI single to right field to bring Martinez home and cut the gap to one run, but Tulsa retired four of the last six batters to end the game.

Rob Scahill (6-5) was credited with a win for Tulsa, giving up two earned runs on five hits in his six innings of service. Urckfitz (1-5) received his second blown save of the season, allowing three earned runs on one hit in his two-thirds of an inning pitched.

Tulsa will try to make it five-straight at 7:05 p.m. Friday against the Hooks in the second game of a six-game home stand.
