SAND SPRINGS, Oklahoma -- Charles Page High School in Sand Springs welcomed the public to its new performing arts center Tuesday night.

The top-notch band hall was specially designed with acoustics in mind. The Sandite Band has outgrown it's current music space, but the acoustics and elbow room are just the beginning.

"Having this space to grow is really phenomenal and it's great for the community too, having something that's architecturally significant and really gorgeous," Kyle Wright, Sand Springs Band Director, said.

The building will also be used for school board meetings and provides the best seat in the house for Sandite football games.
