BROKEN ARROW, Oklahoma -- The Broken Arrow Library has a new look. The library celebrated its grand reopening Saturday morning.
Inside you'll find newly redone bathrooms, fresh paint, carpet and windows. Officials say it's to make things comfortable for the thousands of bookworms who love to use the facilities each year.
"The libraries are the heaviest used facilities in the county. They are hundreds and thousands of people coming through...so as you can imagine there is a little bit of wear and tear. So it's really important to keep it warm and inviting and update," said Gary Schaffer with Tulsa City County Library.
There were cookies and lemon aide, face painting for the families at the opening.
