TULSA, Oklahoma -- Governor Mary Fallin praised Oklahoma's rebounding economy in her State of the State address.

She spoke to hundreds of businessmen and women at a Tulsa Chamber of Commerce lunch Monday.

Fallin just returned home from a Governor's summit and said she was one of the few governors with bragging rights, as our state did not raise taxes to balance the budget.

She said the last legislative session was very productive in making Oklahoma a more business-friendly state.

"And that's the word I've been trying to spread: the Oklahoma story," she said. "That we are focusing on jobs, the economy, focusing on education because it is essential that we have a highly skilled, educated work-force."

Fallin said in the next session, she plans to work on new policies to protect Oklahoma's oil and gas and water industries.
