Scott Beerer Called Up To Triple-A Colorado Springs

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Drillers outfielder Scott Beerer has been promoted to Triple-A Colorado Springs. The former Texas A&M star is hitting .292 with 95 hits this season for Tulsa.

Beerer is tied for fourth on the team in doubles (18) and is third in homeruns (13) and RBIs (42).

Beerer will join the Sky Sox one day after helping the Drillers move into first place in the North division's second half standings.

Tulsa has won six of its last seven games to get to 15-13. They'll host the Travelers in the third game of their series Sunday night at 7:05.
