Learn How To Fight Like A Girl In Owasso

OWASSO, Oklahoma -- Women and girls aged 10 and up are invited to learn how to fight like a girl Thursday night.

It's a free personal violence prevention seminar.  The organizer says it will give women and girls the steps necessary to avoid walking around as a potential victim.

The man who's hosting it says FLAG will cover situational awareness, as well as different escapes from threatening situations.

"I've seen too many women look for self defense after something horrible has already happened.  And we can still help these women, don't get me wrong, but I encourage women to be proactive in taking the proper steps to ensure they don't become a victim," said Colton Johnson, who's hosting the session.
