CLAREMORE, Oklahoma – The opening kick-off of Claremore-Sequoyah’s game against Inola gave away to how the night would go.
The Eagles took back the kick-off and went on to score three touchdowns in the first eight minutes of the game, defeating Inola 68-20.
On Claremore-Sequoyah’s first play from the line of scrimmage, Cale Eidson ran the ball 68-yards down to the two-yard line. That set up another Eagles touchdown.
Cody Richardson, who had a cast on his hand, returned a 46-yard interception for a touchdown. That capped off a stretch where Sequoyah started the game with a special teams, offensive and defensive touchdown.
The Eagles are two weeks away from a critical game with 3A-3 foe Cascia Hall, who they lost to in the state championship game last season.
