OKLAHOMA CITY -- High school football is all about exciting plays and we took the time to narrow the hundreds of amazing plays down to the five best of the week.

No. 9 on the Oklahoma Sports Top 30 David Glidden showed exactly why he is one of the top playmakers in the state, taking the opening kickoff of the game against Putnam City for a score.

Norman is undefeated this season and Jamie Meyers had a big game for the Tigers in their win over Putnam City West. After returning the opening kickoff for a touchdown, he lit up Patriots’ quarterback to force a punt.

Kentrell Brothers is known as a linebacker, but he has offensive skills as well as he goes up for a 50-50 ball and comes down with a touchdown reception in the Blue Jays’ 32-14 win over Carl Albert.

Back to the Mustang-Putnam City game, this time the Pirates’ Casey Curtis makes defenders miss and dives into the end zone 65 yards later for the score.

And No. 1 is not just one play, but four because that’s the kind of day Millwood’s Brandon Swindoll had. Two interceptions returned for touchdowns sandwiched between two touchdown catches helping the Falcons earn the 52-12 win.
