Claremore (3-5, 2-3) got out to a quick start, scoring on their first play from the line of scrimmage as running back Chris Szcinski put them on the board with a 94 yard touchdown run.

Grove (6-2, 4-1) later blocked a punt to set up a 2-yard touchdown play by senior Trent Phillips tying the game at seven.

In the third, Claremore (3-5, 2-3) scored on a 17-yard pass from Matt Whatley to Jake Mason putting the Zebras up 13-7.
