HENNESSEY, Oklahoma – Kingfisher County deputies whoinvestigating the alleged affair between a former basketball coach and a former student have seized records and documents Thursday belonging to Hennessey Public Schools.

Court papers filed Wednesday at the Kingfisher County Courthouse detail what deputies took from the school district to aid in their investigation and arrest of former Hennessey High School girls basketball coach Ben Davis Forsythe.

Forsythe, 32, faces charges of second-degree rape after one of his players came forward with information about their alleged affair. She told investigators the relationship started with texting, led to kissing on the school campus, and ultimately resulted in the two of them having sex on two separate occasions off the school campus.

The relationship lasted between November 2009 and May 2010.

Investigators are now trying to figure out who, if anyone, at the school district knew about the relationship at the time.

On Tuesday, deputies executed a search warrant at the Hennessey Public Schools administration building and seized the following:

- One manila folder labeled "Davis Forsythe" containing 26 pages of employment records.

- Two pages containing the investigatory findings of the Hennessey school faculty from Mr. Brady Barnes

- Two pages containing the investigatory findings of the Hennessey school faculty member Jill Moery

- One piece of paper containing the investigatory findings of the Hennessey school faculty from Mr. Joe McCulley

- Three pages of a disciplinary report for the student named in the investigation.

A preliminary hearing has been set for February 14th.
