SKIATOOK, Oklahoma - In the 4A area tournament on Thursday night, Metro Christian waited until the last minute to shock Tulsa McLain 50-49.

Down 46-49 with less than a minute left, Patriot Holden Calhoon hit a three from the corner to tie the game. On the ensuing possession for the Titans, while trying to wind the clock down for the last shot, McClain turned it over with 10 seconds left.

On the following breakaway for MCA, Ryan Mitchell was fouled on his shot. He sunk one out of two free throws for the 50-49 lead. The Titans had eight seconds left for the final shot, but weren’t able to get it off.

With the one point win, the Patriots will play Cascia Hall tomorrow in Skiatook. Tulsa McLain is eliminated from the playoffs.
