TULSA, Oklahoma -- A small fire at a Tulsa hotel led police to a working meth lab. Authorities say the fire is not connected to the drug operation.

Tulsa firefighters were called out to the Deluxe Inn hotel at 27th and Memorial around 3:00 p.m. Sunday.

The fire appeared to have scorched the upper level of the hotel. Burned debris was seen scattered in the parking lot.

As crews were fighting the flames, authorities happened to find a working meth lab in one of the rooms. Tulsa police were on scene investigating and removing the dangerous chemicals from the hotel.

It's not known if police have any suspects. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
