TULSA, Oklahoma – The Drillers kicked off a seven-game home stand the right way on Tuesday night with a 6-2 win against Northwest Arkansas.

Tulsa shared the wealth offensively, with five different players registering an RBI in the game.

The runs were evenly distributed throughout the innings as well.

Ben Paulsen started off the scoring for the Drillers with an RBI double in the bottom of the first.

Erik Wetzel singled to bring home Mike Zuanich in the second to make the score 2-0.

One of the most exciting and confusing plays of the night came in the fourth when Tulsa's Brian Rike got picked off trying to steal second during a long and elaborate rundown, while Thomas Field found his way home for a 3-0 lead.

Three more runs in the sixth and seventh, including two from a walk and a hit-by-pitch, gave Tulsa a 6-0 lead after seven.

Northwest Arkansas homered in the eighth to score two, but it was too late.

Joey Williamson did an excellent job on the mound, throwing six innings and giving up just two hits on the night.

Tulsa will continue its seven-game home stand on Wednesday night as it hosts Northwest Arkansas again at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday.
