TULSA, Oklahoma -- The hot weather is still taking a toll on water mains.  Crews worked to repair a break on North Hartford in Tulsa Tuesday.

Tulsa has already had 829 water line breaks through the end of July. On average, the city has about 801 breaks for the entire year.

Rogers County Rural Water District Three is also repairing its share of breaks, but the good news is, their water tower is full. That's despite a pump failing overnight.

It should be fixed by Wednesday afternoon, then crews will pull a second pump and make sure it's in good working order.

Because of water problems in the Keetonville area, customers there are still urged to boil their water until further notice.

Inspectors say increased water usage is also putting stress on water lines, especially older ones.
