TULSA, Oklahoma -- A 27-year-old man became so upset after getting arrested in downtown Tulsa early Friday he slammed his head through the back window of a patrol car.

Tulsa Police say the man, identified as Alfred Ball III started throwing his bicycle against cars parked in the Blue Dome district at Second and Elgin.

When officers got Ball into handcuffs, he started fighting with them.

Once inside the patrol car, Ball broke out the back window by using his head as a battering ram.

Police say Alfred Ball III was cut and spitting blood. EMSA took the man to a hospital to be checked out, before police took him to the Tulsa County jail.

He was booked on complaints of malicious injury to city property, resisting arrest and disturbing the peace.
