Cherokee Nation Businesses Awarded $40 Million Govt. Contract

TAHLEQUAH, Oklahoma -- The Department of Defense awarded Cherokee Nation Businesses a contract worth more than $40-million over two years.

It's the biggest the biggest federal contract ever awarded to CNB.

Specific details are classified, but the Cherokee Nation Businesses' security and defense group will sustain and service military hardware.

CNB will hire 10 to 20 engineers, program managers, analysts, and technicians to work on the contract.
