Police Say Drunken Pedestrian Causes Tulsa Street Crash

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Two drivers are involved in a crash on Yale near 26th Street early Friday after one swerved to avoid what Tulsa Police say was a drunk pedestrian walking in the middle of the street.

Tulsa Police say the pedestrian had just been tossed out a bar and was throwing punches at cars at they passed on him on Yale.

A driver of a BMW swerved to avoid the man, but was struck from behind by a pickup truck. Police say the drunken man then got into another car and left the crash scene.

Neither driver was injured.
