TULSA, Oklahoma -- Some Tulsa kids have just what they need to head back to school, thanks to the folks at American Airlines.
The workers delivered more than $69,000 worth of new school uniforms and backpacks filled with all the basics to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma and North Texas.
It took a lot of bake sales and silent auctions to raise all that money.
"It's a great way to spend your time, especially today, rewarding effort of distributing them and talking with the kids and the look on their face actually getting the supplies they need is very rewarding," said Scotty Orr of American Airlines.
This is the second year American has teamed up with Big Brothers and Big Sisters. And, they raised almost twice what they did last year.
