TULSA, Oklahoma -- A horse in the middle of a Tulsa street was hit by a car and an EMSA ambulance early Monday.
Tulsa Police say an eastbound car on 46st Street North struck the horse shortly before 6:30 a.m. That impact sent the horse into the westbound lane, where the EMSA ambulance struck it.
The accident occurred near the intersection of 46th Street North and Victor.
No one in the car or the ambulance was injured.
Police called in a veterinarian who determined the horse had to be put down.
