OKLAHOMA CITY -- An explosion occurred outside of a metro restaurant and church Wednesday morning.
It happened at N.W. 10th Street and Penn inside a dumpster behind Penn Avenue Church of the Nazarene, a church that ministers to the homeless and addicts.
Patrons at the nearby Hungry Frogs Restaurant said the building shook from the impact.
A bomb robot found evidence of an explosive device. Investigators are now trying to put the device back together to figure out exactly what type of bomb it was. The is expected to be closed off for the next several hours while investigators continue to gather evidence.
No major damage was reported and nobody was hurt in the blast.
