NORMAN, Oklahoma – While playing at Oklahoma means plenty of wins and national exposure, it can also be rather stressful at times.

With the quality of recruits that the Sooners get, each player knows there are several other talented guys fighting for their same spot.

One of the most loaded spots for the Sooners coming into the year was at running back.

Roy Finch had plenty of experience last year, but Dominique Whaley was the stud for OU's early season games.

Somewhere in that mix is sophomore Brennan Clay. Through three games, Clay hasn't exactly made a big jump from his freshman year. He averages 3.9 yards per carry with a long of 12 yards, and one touchdown on the young season.

But Clay said he knows what he's capable of and is using the criticism as motivation to step up his game.
