UPDATE: Tulsa Police say 26-year-old Ernest Dixon was pronounced dead after he arrived at a Tulsa hospital Wednesday evening.

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa Police are investigating a shooting that killed a 26-year-old man and wounded three others in a north Tulsa neighborhood Wednesday night.

The shooting happened around 7 p.m. in the 700 block of East 42nd Street North. Police say the four victims were sitting in front of a home when another group of men walked up and began shooting.

Tulsa Police say Ernest Dixon was transported by EMSA in critical condition to a Tulsa hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The three other victims were taken in a personal car to Hillcrest Hospital with non-life threatening injuries according to police.

"What were looking for right now is going to be a mid 90s, light blue colored Toyota Camry. It had several different black male suspects in the vehicle who are considered armed and dangerous," said Tulsa Police Captain Karen Tipler.

It's not known what motivated the shooting, but the Tulsa gang unit is now involved in the investigation.

If you have any information you are encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
